LA SALLE

14:00 - 17:00 - Monday 2 February

La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of Universitat Ramon Llull, invites ISE visitors to explore its Interactive Arts & Science Laboratory (IASlab), a 3,000 m² hub open to artists, researchers, startups, companies, and institutions.

The IASlab brings together art, science, and technology, featuring labs for visual effects, VR/AR, AI, animation, digital arts, interactive robotics, audiovisual post-production, and acoustic research, including reverberant and anechoic chambers. Around forty projects are led here by La Salle researchers in collaboration with industry partners.

Visitors will also see IoTiCAT, La Salle’s innovation hub connecting research and creative industry, and Brooder Lab, the incubator for emerging talent in animation, VFX, and digital arts.

“ISE guests will meet our researchers and see how engineering, architecture, and technology unite to create real-world impact, from smart buildings and data-driven design to digital creativity and human–machine interaction,” says Dr. Rosa Maria Alsina Pagès, Director of Research at La Salle.

CASA BATTLÓ BY GAUDÍ

08:30 - 10:00 - Tuesday 3 February, Wednesday 4 February 

Due to high demand, ISE presents two exclusive tours hosted by the Casa Batlló team, and a guardian of Gaudí’s masterpieces that define Barcelona’s cultural identity.

Guests will explore Gaudí’s genius through the latest 2026 technology updates, including the six-sided LED cube, AI-driven exhibits, and projection mapping from the Indoor Technologies Batlló project.

The visit also unveils Casa Batlló Contemporary, an annual artistic programme that connects Gaudí’s radical legacy with today’s most innovative creators. Extending to a newly restored second-floor gallery, formerly the hidden apartment, designed with Mesura and United Visual Artists, the programme presents two cutting-edge temporary exhibitions each year, uniting heritage, experimentation, and digital art.

Alongside the exploration of heritage and architecture, the Casa Batlló team will provide an overview of the advanced systems for those interested in the technical detail, offering a deeper understanding of how innovation underpins the visitor experience.

“Casa Batlló Contemporary shows how Gaudí’s vision continues to inspire new forms of creativity and dialogue between art, architecture, and technology,” says Amílcar Vargas, PhD, World Heritage Manager, Casa Batlló. “As one of the highlights of the ISE Tech Tours, this visit invites guests to experience how past and future merge through innovation, imagination, and Gaudí’s enduring spirit.”

WHITE RABBIT – THE OFF MUSEUM

Dive into the heart of Barcelona's architectural creativity at White Rabbit – TheOFFMuseum! Experience AI-driven installations, interactive digital art, and projection mapping that reimagine the city’s iconic architecture.

As Enrique Vives, founder of WhiteRabbit, puts it: “We aim to bridge the gap between art and technology, creating immersive experiences that resonate with the soul of Barcelona.”

Guests will engage with immersive exhibits and gain insights from the artists, discovering how art, technology, and architecture converge in innovative ways.

ROOT FOR NATURE, CAIXAFORUM

14:00 - 16:15, Tuesday 3 February 

Guided by the creative team behind the conception, production, and installation of the exhibition, guests will explore Root for Nature at Caixa Forum Barcelona, a cultural hub located in a former textile factory, renowned for its striking architecture and innovative public programming.

The visit includes the Root for Nature exhibition, which stands out for its interactive installations, immersive audiovisual systems, and projection mapping that blend art and design to engage visitors and raise awareness about biodiversity – all from an optimistic point of view. Guests will gain unique insights into the creative and technical processes behind the project.

In addition to the exhibition, participants will enjoy a guided tour of the CaixaForum building to admire its architectural excellence, and experience Symphony, an immersive show that combines advanced lighting, sound, and projection technologies to deliver a unique sensory performance.

ROCA GALLERY

16:00 - 18:00, Tuesday 3 February 

Step inside the Roca Barcelona Gallery, a striking architectural landmark by OAB (Office of Architecture in Barcelona) and part of Roca’s international network, showcasing design and technological excellence worldwide.

Function and design of exquisite bathroom collections are enhanced by lighting, AV, automation, and control systems.

Open to the city, the gallery hosts cultural exhibitions, thought leadership and debates on technological advancement, meetings, and social events always blending design and artistry. By night, the building glows 360° with dynamic LED and glass illumination.

Arturo García, Manager, says: “ISE Tech Tour guests will experience an interactive, thought-provoking journey told from an architectural perspective, exploring smart AV systems, dynamic lighting, and interactive displays.”

L’AQUÀRIUM DE BARCELONA, PRESENTED BY TRISON

14:00 - 16:00, Wednesday 4 February and 10:00 - 12:00, Saturday 7 February

L’Aquàrium de Barcelona, one of Europe’s leading marine centres and a highlight of the city’s Port Vell waterfront, showcases how Trison brings immersive design to life through technology, architecture, culture, and storytelling.

Building on last year’s transformation, new interactive features make the 3D façade, holographic welcome, and one of the largest LED digital sea floors in the world respond dynamically to movement and sound. Guests will also experience the completed black magic glass overlays on marine tanks, adding extraordinary depth and realism to the underwater world. Winner of Best AV Integration and Best Digital Signage at the 2025 AV Integración Awards, the project redefines how visitors experience space and emotion through technology.

INSIDE TV3 | 3CAT STUDIOS AND ROBOTIZED PRODUCTION

16:30 - 18:30, Wednesday 4 February 

Explore 3CAT’s broadcast headquarters – home to TV3, Catalunya Ràdio, and the new 3CatInfo brand – including 10 active studios and staff areas usually closed to the public.

The highlight is Studio 4, a 400 m² robotized news studio with perimeter LED walls, chroma zones, and precision camera robotics, featuring the 3.5 m rotating “giratutto”, the first of its kind in the world. The space integrates multiple news programmes within one environment, from Telenotícies to Matins and Més Nit.

The tour also visits set design, lighting, and scenography workshops, offering insight into the creativity, technology, and partnerships driving 3CAT’s productions. “It’s a glimpse into how Catalan innovation and collaboration shape one of Europe’s most advanced public broadcasting networks,” says Pauli Subira Claramunt, Head of Art & Directing at 3CAT.

CATALUNYA MEDIACITY

08:00 - 11:00, Thursday 5 February 

Explore MediaCity, a 30-hectare tech hub at Sant Adrià de Besòs, part of the Tres Xemeneies project transforming a 1970s power plant.

Ferran Falcó, General Director of Consorci del Besòs, which oversees the site’s development, will lead guests on a tour of the preserved chimneys and reactivated turbine hall, featuring digital, tech, and future-use facilities. The project architects are Garcés de Seta Bonet Arquitectes (GdSB) and MARVEL Architects.

SHOOT ESTUDIOS

Ever wondered what it’s like to live inside a branded advert or luxury campaign? At Shoot Estudios in central Barcelona, you can. These luxury apartments double as event or live production sets, blending design, creativity, architecture and smart technology in authentic residential spaces.

Guests will visit three standout apartments: Brooklyn Loft, Royale, and 027, each revealing how lighting, automation, and control systems transform interiors into adaptable, high-performance environments alongside production and pre-production offices.

Brooklyn Loft merges industrial character with production-ready power and lighting control. 

Royale combines classic elegance and architecture with smart kitchens, multi-room AV, and high-quality professionally installed automation systems supported by the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA).

“Guests will see how we merge design, smart technology, and production infrastructure to create adaptable, liveable sets,” says Gustavo Ruiz Checo, CEO and co-founder.

SABDA: IMMERSIVE WELLNESS MEETS ARTISTIC INNOVATION

Discover SABDA, a pioneering multidisciplinary space in the heart of Barcelona where art, technology, and wellness come together to create transformative experiences.

Founded by Juliet Levine and Marvyn Halfon, SABDA blends 360° projections inspired by nature and abstract art with Dolby Atmos Certified cinematic spatial audio. ALFA5 XR SPORTS: BARCELONA'S PLAYGROUND FOR TECH-ENCHANCED ATHLETICS

Alfa5 XR Sports is where guests can move, explore, and connect. Director Ana Oliveras says: “Alfa5 brings together sport and technology to create something completely fresh.”

This tour will be presenters by Layers of Reality and Alfa5 Sports XR giving an operational production point of view and will experience nine immersive zones powered by VR, AR, lasers, lighting, motion tracking, and projection systems, from virtual climbing, virtual skydiving to interactive soccer arenas.

Housed in a restored Barcelona sports swimming complex, Alfa5 XR Sports transforms physical activity into a high-tech, multisensory adventure and is the perfect Friday finale to the ISE Tech Tours.
