Television isn't dead; a new era of broadcasting has begun.
ISE 2026 brings together the world's biggest global broadcaster and the world's biggest global broadcast vendor, along with many others, in an exciting new programme for Broadcast AV, developed in association with IABM.
Emerging from the era of broadcast-AV convergence we enter the exciting new economies of Creator, Experience, and Streaming.
The rapidly growing digital ecosystem of the Creator Economy, where independent creators produce and distribute content directly to their audiences, now enables corporates and brands to easily take advantage of the direct relationships they have already built with their audiences. This is a fundamental shift from the traditional media economy where large broadcast organisations controlled and monetised the channel to the eyes and ears of consumers. Broadcast quality content creation is easily accessible along with the talent to sustain it.
The Experience Economy combines the four areas of entertainment, education, escapism and aesthetics to transform our experience with a brand rather than simply buying products. Unlike products which are transactional and services which are intangible, an experience focusses on how customers feel and the memory becomes the product. Delivering distinct, exciting and unique experiences enjoys premium rewards. Broadcast-quality content production and delivery is a key competitive differentiator in this market where brands are constantly elevating their offering and standards.
The Streaming Economy has seen explosive growth in the last few years, partly due to Covid-19, but mostly due to the shift in companies moving beyond their traditional markets, to own their content distribution channel and control their brand narrative. The trend of brands and corporations becoming their own broadcasters and launching dedicated streaming platforms is a significant development in the digital economy and driven by the massive growth of the video streaming market and the desire to forge direct, valuable relationships with audiences.
At the ISE 2026 Broadcast AV Summit, attendees will learn about the technologies that are driving these developments and the leaders behind them. Live content creation and distribution is one of the most exciting, adrenaline-filled segments in this market and attendees will be delighted to hear from speakers at the leading edge of live content creation and streaming.

Core infrastructure shift
The shift from traditional SDI (Serial Digital Interface) to IP-based (Internet Protocol) workflows has enabled AV over IP to transport signals over standard networks, which in turn simplifies the content production ecosystem. Subsequently, cloud production and cloud asset management enable lower capital expenditure and scalable, on-demand production and streaming services. Remote production is now more feasible with these toolsets and enables significant cost reduction and flexibility. This opens a new world for corporate events, product launches and live news-style updates from any location – without the cost and carbon footprint of travel.

AR and streaming platforms
Significant developments in augmented reality (AR) bring broadcast graphics technology within reach to deliver a polished and exciting feel to corporate content.
Streaming platforms now enable reliable content hosting, adaptive bitrate that adjusts the video quality based on the viewer’s internet connection or device and content delivery networks (CDNs) that ensure fast delivery with low latency and scalable reach to viewers globally.
AI and ML
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are revolutionising video content creation by making it significantly more accessible and affordable, essentially democratizing a medium that once required specialised skills, expensive equipment, and large production teams.
For creators without professional tools or a big budget, AI offers powerful automation and generative capabilities that drastically reduce the barriers to entry. Attendees will learn how AI and ML are enabling massive cost reductions, streamlined and automated workflows and increasing accessibility to create professional-looking videos in minutes. Personalised content, translation, natural language, and re-versioning are all made easier.
Summit chair is Ciarán Doran, an industry advisor and senior executive with extensive experience of the worlds of television broadcast, content production and delivery, and pro AV technologies.
Purminder Gandhu, an advisor, presenter and producer for IABM (International Association of Broadcast and Media), will co-host the AV Broadcast Summit with Ciarán.
