Michael Kinzel

Michael Kinzel joined d&b audiotechnik in July 2017 and serves as Global Segment Manager for Live and Entertainment Venues. Using his background as a musician and decades of experience in the professional audio industry, Michael bridges the gap between end-user needs and d&b’s core value proposition. His work focuses on delivering tailored solutions for entertainment spaces, including nightclubs and mixed-format hospitality venues.

Beyond his role at d&b, Michael has played an active part in shaping the European live music landscape. He has contributed to several industry associations, including the development of the World Health Organization’s ‘Global Standard for Safe Listening Venues and Events’ guide released in 2022, and which provides important guidelines for audience, staff, and performer well-being.
