David Ross

David has been surrounded by engineering, business, and video technology his entire life. A lifelong programmer and innovator, he joined Ross Video in 1991 and became President in 2004 and CEO in 2006. Under his leadership, Ross has achieved more than three decades of uninterrupted growth, averaging 15% annual sales expansion, while remaining fully independent and largely employee-owned.
As CEO, Chairman, and majority shareholder, David has shaped Ross into a global leader in live production. He is a Fellow of both the Canadian Academy of Engineering and SMPTE and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Ottawa for his contributions to engineering and business.
