Arturo Fuentes-Calle

Arturo Fuentes-Calle is a researcher, educator, and science communicator specializing in AI, with a background that bridges neuroscience, psychology, visual arts, and audiovisual creation. Trained in Film and TV and holding a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Neuroscience from the University of Barcelona he is currently pursuing a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering (UAB), focusing on AI-enhanced medical imaging for ultrasound diagnosis. He has contributed to numerous R+D+i projects in AI and image analysis across scientific and industrial settings, is cofounder of LANG Iberia, and has combined his research with work in museography, immersive environments, and content development for institutions such as CCCB and Indissoluble. He teaches Digital Imaging and Generative AI and is the author of Fonaments de la imatge digital: de la fotografia a la IA generativa.
