Angel Lopez Zaballos
I am a professional with extensive experience and a career in the field of information security and defense systems. My studies in Telecommunications Systems Engineering and my Master's in Ethical Governance of Artificial Intelligence have provided a solid foundation for my career. Over my more than 25 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work at various national and international technology companies, such as INDRA, MACOM / TYCO Electronics, HARRIS, and ALTRAN (Capgemini). In my role as Cyber Security Manager, I have had the opportunity to lead the Cybersecurity Programs at Airbus in Spain. My commitment to the sector extends beyond my role, as I also collaborate as the Coordinator of the Cybersecurity Group at TEDAE and Vice President of the Cybersecurity Commission at AMETIC. From these positions, I advocate for the national interests of the domestic industry and actively participate in various working groups, such as GT3 and GT4 of the National Security Forum, promoted by the DSN. Additionally, I participate in different standardization committees for UNE, CEN, and ISO in areas like innovation, cybersecurity, and DLT/Blockchain networks, contributing to the definition of industry standards. My passion for talent and cybersecurity has also led me to found and preside over Social Economy organizations, such as idatis.org and kubsisec.coop, with the goal of promoting talent and social inclusion in the sector. I extend this work at a European level as an ambassador for CyberHubs - European Network of Cybersecurity Skills Hubs.
