Project executive, Stouenborg ApS
Denmark

Anders Jørgensen works daily as a project manager and Senior Theater Consultant at STOUENBORG. With a solid professional background and many years of experience in sound systems for opera, concerts, theatre, events, exhibitions, and AV, he joined the company in 2010. Since then, Anders, together with Kasper Stouenborg, has been instrumental in developing STOUENBORG into a company that delivers fully integrated solutions within lighting, sound, and video. His presence has enabled the company to offer comprehensive consulting and technical project management on large-scale and complex projects, including the Maersk Tower, The Blue Planet, the Maritime Museum of Denmark, KPMG’s headquarters, Jyske Bank, Falconer Salen, and Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

Anders’ work extends far beyond Denmark’s borders. At Avicii Arena in Stockholm, he played a central role in developing the arena’s modern and highly flexible sound systems. The goal was to create a technological foundation capable of supporting both major international productions and everyday operational needs. Anders’ ability to balance technical complexity with practical functionality contributed to a solution that elevates the arena’s acoustic and technological capacity, ensuring a consistent, powerful, and precise audio experience for audiences regardless of event type.

In Denmark, Anders has also contributed to projects where pedagogy, technology, and communication merge. For the LIFE Education Laboratory, he helped shape and develop the advanced AV and sound systems that support the facility’s interactive learning environments. His work focused on creating solutions that connect natural science education with technological frameworks designed to enhance communication, student involvement, and flexibility in teaching scenarios. The result is a technological space where sound and visual media function as active tools in education, supporting LIFE’s vision of delivering engaging learning experiences for children and young people.

Through his sound design work at STOUENBORG, Anders has also been responsible for developing sound solutions for the Norwegian Road Museum, The Blue Planet, Møntergården in Odense, and several other cultural and exhibition projects. His approach is characterised by technical precision, creative understanding of sound, and an ability to translate complex needs into clear, functional, and aesthetically coherent solutions.

In 2019, Anders received international industry recognition when he was awarded “Consultant of the Year” at the InAVate Awards in Amsterdam—an honour given among 600 candidates, underscoring both his professional calibre and his significant contributions to modern AV and sound design.
