Welcome to the ISE Megatrend Programme. Your host, Hannah Shellswell, will provide an overview for the next three days of Megatrend sessions and introduce Byron Tarry, Founder of NEXXT, who will co-host and moderate the first panel in the Smart Spaces Megatrend sessions this morning.

Byron will set the stage for the Smart Spaces keynote from professional disruption catalyst Rich Mulholland.  Rich will anchor around three core ideas of - why legacy thinking is holding us back - how offence is the best defence, and that we've been lied to about AI. That mindset becomes the foundation for a Smart Spaces agenda built on agility, learning velocity, and the courage to stop what no longer serves.

With that frame, Byron and Rich will apply Rich’s thinking to the industry through a dynamic panel discussion with Julian Phillips, Jon Sidwick and Brennan Reynolds, as we try to map where value can and must shift to seize the “Smart Spaces” opportunity at hand – shifting from product to workflow, from delivery to accountability, from rooms to workplaces, installs to outcomes - and what that means for offers, metrics, skills, and go to market.

Then we get practical. Product and platform leaders from Microsoft and Shure will help us connect the day’s ideas to today’s realities and tomorrow’s roadmaps, offering actionable immediate paths forward, and smart bets on future unknowns.
