Jon English
Jon’s career has spanned three decades, with over twenty years of enterprise information technology experience gained across a broad range of companies from small software houses to large Blue-Chip organisations in a diverse range of sectors including manufacturing, software, retail, media and financial services.
Most recently Jon headed up a series of technology product groups within Deutsche Bank’s Group CIO and CTO divisions. In these groups, he created and led the bank’s Unified Communications strategy, with responsibility for the direction of real time communications and collaboration technology and its place in the modern digital workplace. Latterly, as part of the Regulatory, Compliance & Anti-financial Crime Technology division, he focused on bringing the latest developments in cloud data storage, management and analytics to the field of digital records management, archiving and eDiscovery, with a particular focus on the data associated with communications and collaboration.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2005 Jon co-founded The IT Practice, with two AV industry veterans; Simon Dudley and Jon Tracey. The technology consultancy focussed on the videoconferencing industry, providing strategy development advice focused on enterprise end users and manufacturers alike. It is with this focus again that prodd has been created and Jon is now working again to bring creator and consumer thinking together in order to produce the very best products and services.
