Andy Bull
Andy Bull is an “integrator turned lighting designer” who remains deeply involved in lighting controls.
He runs Lighting Audio Video Projects in Dublin, Ireland, and co-founded Eclipse Lighting Design Studio, delivering residential and commercial projects across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and Africa, with a diverse client base ranging from taxi drivers to Formula 1 drivers.
His passions for “the great implementation of lighting controls,” “making homes beautiful with light,” and “helping humans with light” converge in every project he undertakes.
Back in 2013, Andy worked on one of the UK’s first Human Centric Lighting projects at a major hospital, where some wards had no access to natural light. That experience sparked a lasting passion for the field, which he continues to explore as new research regularly uncovers fresh insights into how light impacts human well-being.
The same project also laid the foundations of his approach to effective and exceptional lighting control, principles that remain central to his work today.
