Integrated Systems Events, BV, Barbara Strozzilaan 201, 1083 HN Amsterdam, The Netherlands (“ISE”) is the owner and organizer of the world’s largest audiovisual and systems integration trade fair (“Show”).  ISE operates this website under the URL www.iseurope.org (“Website”). You may visit the Website without providing Personal Data, as defined below. However, should you wish ISE to provide the Services, as defined below, you may be required to allow ISE to process, transfer and store your Personal Data. Protecting your Personal Data and in collecting, processing, transferring and storing your Personal Data is very important to ISE. Accordingly, ISE is committed to complying with the applicable data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Privacy Regulation (“GDPR”). These Terms inform you of ISE’s policies regarding the use of your Personal Data.

The following terms shall have the meanings as defined below:

“Personal Data” means any information with which you can be personally identified. This includes your name, your postal or e-mail address, and other information as required or requested to allow ISE to perform the Services, as defined below.

“Services” means ISE’s (a) processing of your registration as an attendee, exhibitor or press attendee at the Show; (b) sending you newsletters, e-mails and similar with regard to the Show, partners and related events/offerings; (c) identifying an appropriate partner for your needs upon your request; (d) analysis of the results of any ISE or ISE partner you may participate in; (e) provision of courses; or (f) sales of merchandise.

Collection of Personal Data

ISE collects Personal Data from you when you register for the Show, update your profile, or request other Services via the Website. To register with ISE, you must provide your name, email address, billing address. From time to time ISE or one of its partners may ask you to respond to surveys or other requests for information. We may collect Personal Data from you when you participate in courses and workshops offered on the Website.

All Personal Data that ISE collects may be used by ISE only with your consent for the purpose for which ISE has expressly requested such information and subject to this Privacy Policy or as otherwise expressly agreed by you.

You may change your profile information at any time. However, we may be unable to update or delete any of your Personal Data that has been shared with a third party as permitted in this Privacy Policy, but you will be able to do so pursuant to such third-party data privacy terms.

Communications

ISE may send you service-related announcements and emails from time to time. ISE may also use your Personal Data to send you e-newsletters, updates and communications about ISE. You may change your newsletter preferences (i) at any time by simply updating your account, or (ii) by opting-out of receiving future emails as described at the bottom of each communication from ISE.

ISE uses cookies to be reminded of who you are and to make sure you receive information that is relevant to you, the Website uses data “cookies.”. These cookies are small data files stored on your computer which identify you as a previous visitor to the Website and help ISE to personalize your experience when you arrive. Log file data & Web Analytics

Like most website operators, ISE collects log-file data from all visitors to the Website. ISE uses the third-party advertising technology listed below to serve ads when you visit the Website. For instance, ISE uses Google AdSense, among others, to provide advertising in its e-newsletters. ISE has multiple layers of security on its systems. ISE may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy will always be posted on the Website, with the “Effective Date” posted at the top of the Privacy Policy.  ISE will inform you if it substantially modifies the way ISE handles your Personal Data by posting a notice on the Website. Should you not agree to any changes, you may change your account preferences or delete your account.  However, in the latter case you will no longer receive information from ISE regarding the Show or any related topics, and ISE may no be able to provide the Services to you.
