ENTERPRISE & IT
ISE has multiple solutions to make workplaces, and the people who use them, more productive
Unified communications have become increasingly prevalent in recent years, enabling participants to take part in collaborative meetings whether they are present in the meeting room, at their desk, in their home office, or travelling on business. At ISE 2020, Hall 11 is the Unified Communications Technology Zone, featuring brands such as Ashton Bentley, Cisco, ClearOne, Intel Unite, Logitech, Lifesize, Oblong, Pexip, Starleaf – and not forgetting Google and Microsoft.
AV over IP: Rather than running over dedicated infrastructure, AV signals increasingly share networks with general IT traffic – and that is a particular trend within corporates. At ISE you’ll find numerous suppliers of IP encoders/decoders, switches and other elements of networking infrastructure – including Analog Way, Aurora Multimedia, Black Box, Crestron, Kramer, Lightware, Matrox and ZeeVee.
Smart buildings: The corporate sector is taking the lead in the demand for smart buildings. Hall 9 is where you’ll find the Smart Building Technology Zone, featuring providers of smart building infrastructure and equipment – including Beckhoff, DoorBird, HDL, JUNG, LILIN, Steinel Professional, and the Z-Wave Alliance. Additionally, the KNX Association has a stand here which features a large number of KNX partners.
Digital signage: Particularly within larger corporates, digital signage is an important means of communication in reception areas, catering areas and elsewhere. The Digital Signage and DooH Technology Zone in Hall 8 features suppliers of digital signage players, displays and software, such as ASUS, Aten, BrightSign, Daktronics, Elo Touch, iiyama, Infinitus, NEC, Onelan, Scala, Signagelive, SpinetiX and Zytronic.
General AV: We haven’t yet mentioned a plethora of other solutions popular with the enterprise market: projectors, large format displays, meeting room booking systems, boardroom microphones, loudspeakers of all powers and sizes, IPTV cameras… the list is almost endless. Fortunately we have a number of printed, online and at-show guides available to help you find the solutions you’re looking for.
And within the ISE 2020 conference programme, you may want to consider attending the half-day AVIXA Enterprise AV Conference, organised by AVIXA (a leading AV trade association which co-owns ISE) and the AV User Group, an end-user community of over 750 professionals. Held on the afternoon of Wednesday 12 February, it will examine the role of data analytics in enabling better business strategies and workspace/system design.
