General

a. The registration on this website for the Integrated Systems Europe trade fair (“Event”) will be processed by ISE Systems Events, BV (“ISE”) in conjunction with N200, Donkere Spaarne 24zw, 2011 JG Haarlem, The Netherlands.,

b. The ISE Office is located at Barbara Strozzilaan 201, 1083 HN, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. ISE can be contacted at: E-mail: registration@iseurope.org, Fax: +31 (0)20 240 2425, Tel: +31 (0)20 240 24 66.

c. Your contract for purchases made through this website is with ISE and all correspondence will be in the English language.

d. You agree that e-mail can be used as a means of remote communication.

e. No sales contract will exist between you and ISE unless and until ISE acknowledges and accepts your registration for an exhibition or conference by e-mail. That acceptance will be deemed complete and to have been effectively communicated to you at the time ISE sends the e-mail to you, whether or not you receive said e-mail.

f. The confirmation e-mail will contain all relevant statutory information concerning your sales contract, as well as a link to these Terms and Conditions, which may be amended from time to time in accordance with paragraph cc below. You are advised to check that the details on the confirmation e-mail are correct as soon as possible; you may print it and keep a copy of it.

g. ISE operates under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only process personal data in respect of your registration and ensuring you get the most from your attendance at the Event, as further detailed below. h. Payments will be processed by Paypal or Docdata, neither ISE nor N200 will receive any credit card details. Paypal or Docdata will also not pass on your credit or debit card details to any other party.

i. Any (personal) data you provide will be processed using an appropriate level of care. In registering for the Event you consent to the transfer of any personal data you may supply to ISE as part of your registration as an attendee at the Event generally to third parties (in accordance with the statement on the registration form). However, these third parties will be strictly limited to ISE Exhibitors and selected Partners, as well as N200. (A full list of ISE Exhibitors can be viewed on our website, https://www.iseurope.org/) The administrative processing of your participation in the Event will be done by N200 on behalf of ISE .

j. Photography and Image Release – As an attendee, you may take photographs for your own private use. No commercial photography, filming or recording of any part of the Event is allowed without ISE’s prior written consent to press@iseurope.org. For the avoidance of doubt, you may not video, film, transmit or otherwise record (including audio recordings) any seminar, session, exhibit or attendee without the prior written consent of ISE. All photographic rights are reserved by ISE. ISE may at its sole discretion arrange for photographs and/or video and/or sound recordings to be made at or in connection with Event. In consideration for being granted admission to ISE as an attendee you agree to be photographed and/or recorded whilst attending the Event and hereby: (i) grant ISE permission to use all photographs and recordings featuring you (the Images) throughout the world in connection with advertising, reporting on and promoting ISE and any related activities in all and any media including without limitation in ISE’s publications, presentations, promotional materials, broadcasts, advertising of ISE’s services including without limitation on ISE’s websites, newsletters and other promotional materials, regardless of medium; and (ii) consent to ISE storing copies of the Images for those purposes in any location and to ISE storing your contact details in connection with the Images.

Use of personal information

k. By knowing a little about you, ISE is able to deliver more relevant content and advertisements, and hence a better service, to you. ISE’s goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with the most intuitive web experience possible. In addition, we provide our advertisers with an efficient means to reach the right audience. By scanning your badge on a BTAG, allowing your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor / sponsor or by registering with an exhibitor supplied code you will be providing the exhibitor / sponsor with your personal contact data (as disclosed when registering). You accept that this exhibitor / sponsor may contact you about their products or services under legitimate interest

l. ISE may send you information about our various products and services, or other products and services. ISE may use the collected data (your name, address, e-mail address) for such purposes. You can remove yourself from any distribution list via a link in the communication. Only ISE (or agents working on our behalf under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings.

m. AVIXA (Fairfax, VA, USA) and Cedia (St. Neots, Cambs, U.K.), collectively “Shareholders”, the Shareholders and their respective worldwide regional offices may use your personal data (limited to your name, address, e-mail address) to send you information about the Shareholder’s services and products, in particular exhibitions organized by the Shareholders. You may remove yourself from any distribution list via a link in the respective communication. For the purpose of enhancing your experience at the Event, your details may be passed on to online networking services including the ISE show app. This will in some cases enable you to communicate with other attendees during the Event. .

n. You should ensure that all details you provide to ISE for the purpose of ordering services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the services ordered. If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform ISE as soon as possible.

o. All purchases are non-exchangeable, and non-transferable, subject to Section p below and any mandatory, statutory rights.

p. You may cancel your order within seven days without recourse unless the event for which you have registered will begin less than seven days from the date of your order, by sending notice of cancellation by e-mail to registration@iseurope.org, or fax to +31 (0)20 240 2425, To be valid, such notice must include your name, address and your registration reference code, and you confirmation email and voucher must be attached if you have already received it. A full refund will be issued for registration cancellation to the credit card account that was used for the purchase within 30 days after receipt of your cancellation notification, provided your badge is included (if applicable) and notice is sent by December 23, 2018. No refunds will be made for any cancellations received after December 23, 2018.

q. ISE may retain your data for up to three years after the Event. Should you wish to have your information deleted, you may do so by informing ISE at any time after the end of the Event.

Liability

r. This liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law. ISE and N200 do not exclude or limit any liability for (a) personal injury (including sickness and death) where such injury results from ISE’s or N200’s negligence or willful misconduct, or that of ISE’s or N200’s employees, agents or subcontractors or (b) fraudulent misrepresentation.

s. ISE and N200 do not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed services at their sole discretion. ISE and N200 will endeavor to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after having been notified of same.

t. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ISE and N200 are providing this website and its contents on an “as is” and make no (and expressly disclaim all) representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to this website or the information content in this site, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, ISE and N200 do not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this website is accurate, complete or current.

u. ISE and N200 do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential damages, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss or damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the ISE Website or for any services purchased from ISE.

Processing of orders

v. Your credit or debit card account will be debited before your badge is printed. All prices include applicable sales taxes, unless otherwise stated.

w. Every purchase you make shall be deemed performed in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Dutch law shall govern every aspect of the any contractual relationships arising out of the use of this website.

x. You can collect your badge on site at the event by using your registration confirmation with barcode and reference code.

Anti-harassment Policy

y. ISE, is committed to providing a trade show environment in which all participants feel safe and are treated with respect. In order to create that environment, participants are expected to maintain appropriate standards of behavior by refraining from conduct that that may be (or perceived to be) harmful to themselves, other participants, ISE staff and/or other third parties. Types of conduct that ISE considers inappropriate include, but is not limited to: (1) harassment, which is defined for purposes of this policy to include (i) offensive and unwelcome conduct based on ethnicity, religion, disability, physical appearance, gender, or sexual orientation; (2) offensive gestures and verbal comments; (3) deliberate intimidation; (4) stalking; (5) sustained disruption of talks or other events; (6) inappropriate physical contact; and (7) unwelcome attention. Participants requested to cease inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately, and failure will serve as grounds for revoking access to the ISE event.

z. Attendees, speakers, volunteers, guests, members, and contractors are encouraged, but, not required, to inform the harasser that their conduct is unwelcome. Regardless of whether the harasser is directly confronted, speakers, volunteers, guests, members, contractors, attendees must promptly report the conduct to ISE to investigate and address the conduct. If a participant is in immediate danger, hotel security or local law enforcement should be informed promptly, prior to notifying ISE.

aa. When notified of individuals who are engaging or who have engaged in harassing behavior, ISE may take any action they deem appropriate, ranging from a simple warning to expulsion from the current and/or future ISE meetings, conferences and events, or in the case of ISE employees, taking appropriate disciplinary action. Decisions to ban individuals from future ISE events or take disciplinary action against ISE employees is in the sole discretion of ISE.

Miscellaneous

bb. It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to place an order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. ISE tracks the electronic ‘fingerprints’ of every order placed on the ISE website to enable ISE and all law enforcement authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on the ISE website.

cc. ISE may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time, and such new Terms and Conditions will come into effect when uploaded to this website. The amended Term and Conditions shall apply to any purchase made after such date.

dd. These Terms and Conditions shall apply when ISE accepts your order by e-mail. They shall supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations relating to your purchase, whether oral or in writing, and contain the entire agreement between ISE and you relating to your purchase. ISE advises that you print these Terms and Conditions and keep safe a copy once your order has been accepted by ISE.

ee. If any of these terms are held to be invalid or unenforceable, those terms will be struck out and the other terms will remain.

ff. These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws and exclusive jurisdiction of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

gg. Due to the business nature and congestion at ISE, show days or teardown. Children 16 and older must register, pay the appropriate fee and be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 16 to 18 are admitted on show days with the understanding that they are the sole responsibility of an accompanying adult.
