Talking IPMX with Macnica

Andrew Starks, director of product management at Macnica Technology, will present the company’s sub-frame latency, 4K60P 4:4:4 HDMI2.0 over 1GbE IP gateway solutions built on the IPMX open standard at ISE Digital.

He will be on the Innovation channel and in the Partner Hub giving an overview of the IPMX open standard and demonstrating the features and capabilities of the ME10 SoC, MPA1000 SoM and the MPA1000/ME10 Launch Kit.

Additionally, he will present Macnica’s flexible developer environment for these products, which features the Lua scripting language and the Angular framework. This enables rapid development of highly specialised application software that OEMs can custom-tailor to meet their unique end-user requirements.

The ME10 (pictured) is Macnica’s full-stack AV-over-IP system on a chip (SoC) for larger production runs or for use in more compact products.

The MPA1000 – built on the ME10 – is a system on a module (SoM) that allows manufacturers to include IPMX interoperability in any video product with a minimal investment in engineering. Simple configuration and control are the core principles in the design of this module.

The MPA1000/ME10 Launch Kit contains everything needed to begin developing products with IPMX interoperability, all preconfigured to be used right out of the box. The Launch Kit can be used to evaluate how standards-based video will work with current products, to develop new products and as a reference to the connections and configurations that will be needed as you go into production.
