Tony Smith

Tony Smith is a renowned expert in the field of audio system design, with over 30 years of experience in audio with the leading console & speaker manufacturers.Most notably d&b audiotechnik, DigiCo & L-Acoustics. Working on shows such as George Michael, Muse, Lady Gaga, Imagination Events. 24yrs working with Coldplay on every live project, as system designer & audio director with engineering credits on their last 4 studio albums. I have been involved, working along side d&b & their team providing insight for power efficiency within their amplifiers, sub coupling & speaker directivity, all of which have had a significant impact on the audio community. This underlying understanding of line-arrays comes from being one of the early L-Acoustics CVE’s. Tony Smith is also a member of the MIT Environmental Solutions Initiative.
