Timo Kosig

Timo Kosig is the Product Security Officer at Barco Control Rooms, where he oversees the delivery of secure products for critical infrastructure customers. He holds a diploma in Computer Engineering, specializing in distributed systems.

Timo began his career as an Embedded Software Developer, writing firmware and designing embedded hardware, including PCB design, for medical devices. He spent 15 years in the medical device industry, holding various positions in R&D such as Software Development Manager, Technical Project Lead, and Project Manager for New Product Introductions.

In 2018, Timo moved into Product Security, becoming the Product Security Manager responsible for the cybersecurity of both diagnostic and life-critical medical devices in the lung function space. In 2023, he joined Barco to continue his journey in helping to secure critical infrastructure.
