Shelly Sabel
Drawing inspiration from her long-standing love affair with New York City, Shelly’s design career spans numerous arenas and mediums. With 25 years of experience across art, fashion, theater, dance, liveevents, immersive experiences, and production, she brings a deep understanding of both creative vision and technical execution.
She has received multiple awards and recognition for her design of retail spaces and window displays, including flagship locations for Ralph Lauren, Levi’s, and Donna Karan.
Shelly expanded her practice by working within A/V companies, gaining an inside view that continues to shape her creative and technical storytelling. As a Creative Producer, she focuses on artist collaborations that explore emerging technologies—partnerships that reimagine how tools shape experience, emotion, and environment. She translates clients’ visions for technical teams, building strong communities to push boundaries.
Shelly is an adjunct faculty member at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and serves on the board of frame:work, a community for creative video professionals in live events, installations, and virtual production.
