Seena Amidi
Seena began his career in the startup world, working for the outstanding AI company Baarzo. The company specialized in automatically tagging digital videos using advanced AI models. Baarzo was acquired by Google in 2014 to help power YouTube, the world’s second-largest search engine.
After supporting the integration of Baarzo into Google, Seena joined the family business, Plug and Play. There, he founded both the New Materials and Packaging program and the Food & Beverage program, expanding Plug and Play's reach into untapped verticals.
In 2020, recognizing growing global opportunities, Seena moved to Europe to become Managing Partner of EMEA. He also sits on the board of Plug and Play. While building the business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, he pursued an MBA in International Business from EAE and continues to foster relationships with institutional and business leaders.
With a strategic lens for scale, Seena built a team of more than 300 across 25 offices. Under his leadership, Plug and Play EMEA now represents 35% of the global business and delivers tailored innovation services to industry-leading corporations across all verticals.
