Rebekka Gingell
Rebekka works at the intersection of media history and audiovisual technology, combining historical research with technical communication. She holds a Master’s degree in History and Media Cultural Studies, with a focus on media history, including mobile telephony, the internet in everyday life, and queer media.
She honed her research and science communication skills in a two-year traineeship at a women's archive and library. Rebekka proceeded to move into the AV industry as a trainee and eventually Manager Event Technology at LANG where she presents complex technical systems to academic and professional audiences and hosts an industry podcast with international guests. Within her first year in the industry she became the technical lead overseeing and coordinating the LANG booth at ISE 2026.
