Paulino Cuevas
With over 24 years of international experience in the audiovisual industry, I have focused my career on key areas such as investment attraction, film taxation, intellectual property, and new technology law. I served as Executive Producer at Euromedia for over two decades, leading national and international audiovisual projects. I later held the role of General Director at Spain Film Commission, where I promoted Spain as a global filming destination and fostered international investment. Currently, I serve as Managing Director at ALIA (Alianza de la Industria Audiovisual), representing and supporting the Spanish technical audiovisual sector. Throughout this journey, I have led and contributed to European projects related to audiovisual production (film, television, advertising, and video games), as well as initiatives involving generative artificial intelligence. My current work and research focus on analyzing the ethical, legal, and regulatory implications of Generative AI from a comparative and international perspective.
