Maye Mac-Swiney

Maye Mac-Swiney is Marketing and Communications Manager, Riot Games Iberia & Italy Interim Country Lead, Riot Games Iberia & Italy. Mac-Swiney is a seasoned marketing and communications leader with extensive experience in the gaming and esports industry. As Marketing & Communications Manager for Riot Games Iberia & Italy, she has spearheaded record-breaking campaigns, including the launches of Arcane and VALORANT in Spain, Italy, and Portugal. 

She has also played a key role in major esports activations, such as the League of Legends World Championship in Madrid, while leading multiple strategic initiatives across the region to support Riot’s portfolio of games. Currently serving as Interim Country Lead for Riot Games Iberia & Italy, Maye continues to drive regional strategy, partnerships, and community engagement efforts. 

Prior to Riot Games, she held global marketing leadership roles at Fluendo and Now Computing, where she led gaming product launches, secured key partnerships with Minecraft, Atari, EA, and Bandai Namco, and developed PR, influencer, and social media strategies. She has also built and managed global teams and successfully executed large-scale international events, including CES, E3, and Minecon.
