Mark Richards
Mark Richards is Business Development Manager at Zyxel Networks UK, working with integrators, MSPs, resellers and technology partners to develop secure, high-performance networking solutions across the UK market.
Before moving into business development, Mark gained hands-on experience as a Senior networking engineer, giving him a strong technical grounding in the infrastructure behind modern connected environments. His recent career has combined that technical background with customer-facing and commercial roles, helping organisations translate complex networking requirements into practical solutions.
At Zyxel, Mark has developed a particular focus on the AV, custom integration and smart-building markets, helping partners understand how enterprise-grade networking, Wi-Fi and cybersecurity can be introduced without unnecessary complexity.
As AV systems become increasingly IP-based, Mark works closely with integrators around resilient Wi-Fi, switching, remote management and network security — helping bridge the gap between traditional AV installation and modern IT infrastructure.
At ISE 2027, Mark brings both the technical and commercial perspective on why networking and cybersecurity are becoming core skills for the modern CEDIA professional.
