Marjolein Koens-Schaddelee

Marjolein Koens-Schaddelee (34) is Managing Director of AVEX NL and a member of the Board of Directors of AVEX Group, preparing to succeed her father as future CEO. As the third generation in the family business, she drives innovation and international growth across the Netherlands, Belgium, and the UK. Marjolein also serves on the Board of the GPA.

With nearly a decade of experience in sales, operations, and event management, Marjolein has doubled business lines and pioneered hybrid event formats. Her strategic vision and hands-on leadership have positioned AVEX as a frontrunner in sustainable AV solutions, notably through the launch of BRIX zero: a modular, circular, and CO₂-neutral AV system, based entirely on reuse, transparent supply chains, and measurable sustainability data. With this concept, she demonstrates that innovation and sustainability can reinforce each other and that the AV sector can serve as an example in this regard.

Recognized in Inavate Magazine’s EMEA “40 Under 40,” Marjolein is known for inspiring teams and turning forward-thinking ideas into measurable results. As an active leader in the GPA Sustainability Committee, she co-develops the alliance’s sustainability strategy with her team.
