Colonel of Artillery and Industrial Engineer, specialised in electronics and automation. Certified cryptology specialist, holding several advanced certifications in ICT security. He has more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity.
He is a member of Spain’s National Cybersecurity Council, Spain’s national representative to the Information Security and Cybersecurity Committees of the Council of the European Union and NATO, and a member of the Executive Committee of the ICT Strategy Commission of the General State Administration.
Among the main responsibilities of his current position are supporting the implementation of the National Security Framework (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) across public administrations, directing and coordinating the national incident response capability, strengthening the ICT security evaluation and certification framework, and promoting and developing the National Cybersecurity Strategy
