Chris believes technology should benefit people and be easy to use, and has dedicated his career to the pursuit of this goal. A former engineer and municipal firefighter, he now runs his integration company (started when he was in high school) full-time. A fierce industry and user advocate, Chris frequently speaks at schools, industry events, and at local home improvement workshops. He serves as a CEDIA Subject Matter Expert in User Interface (UI) design, maintains a CEDIA ESC-N credential, and is a CEDIA Outreach Instructor. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.
