Cecilia Torracchi
Cecilia Torracchi is a civil engineer and acoustic designer specialized in architectural acoustics, sound insulation and the design of recording studios, post-production facilities and performance spaces. She is a licensed engineer and a Qualified Acoustic Technician listed in the Italian National Register (ENTeCA). She teaches Acoustics in the Applied Music programme at the Fiesole Music School.
She became a partner of Studio Sound Service in 2017. She is responsible for the design of many of the company’s major projects and coordinates the studio’s activities.
Her work includes the complete redesign of the Cinema A Dolby Atmos mix stage at Cinecittà in Rome, the renovation of the Teatro Manzoni in Pistoia, and dubbing and mixing facilities for Iyuno, Dubbing Brothers, Disney and FOX across Europe and the United States.
She has co-authored papers presented at the national conferences of the Acoustical Society of Italy (AIA))
