Andy Land

Andy Land is Global Head of Sustainability at the Focusrite Group and a lifelong advocate for climate action and sustainable music creation. A University of Surrey graduate, Andy began his career at Focusrite over 15 years ago, with the last five as the full-time Sustainability lead. Driving the Group’s Environmental strategy, Andy has managed multiple years of TCFD and CDP reporting and continues to work on the Group’s commitment to set Science-Based Targets by April 2026.

Using his engineering and data background, he has developed the Group's in-house component-level LCA (lifecycle assessment) database, which is now the backbone of Scope 3 disclosures (rated A in the 2025 CDP reporting cycle) and provides engineering teams with detailed feedback to integrate sustainability features with each product refresh.

As part of the Group's "Industry Lead" strategy pillar, he also serves as a Director at the Music Industries Association, collaborates with PLASA on initiatives across the audio technology industry, and has previously spoken at LEaTCon, Gearfest, The Scope 3 Innovation Forum, Good Corporation House of Lords roundtables, Radio TechCon and the first AV Sustainability Summit.
