Andrew Haslam
Andrew Haslam is a UK-based Creative Technologist working freelance across broadcast, live events, radio, video and live streaming, combining creative storytelling with robust technical delivery.
His experience spans community and national broadcasting, large-scale live events, studio and gallery environments, and hybrid production workflows. He specialises in broadcast-grade vision systems, multi-camera production, PTZ and camera robotics, and translating creative ideas into reliable, scalable solutions that hold up under real-world pressure.
In 2025, Andrew was named Broadcast Newcomer of the Year at the Breakthrough Talent Awards, recognising his work across live events and broadcast. He now works full-time freelance, supporting broadcasters, venues and production teams with vision systems, live delivery and technical direction.
Alongside freelance work through Ghostlight Creative Media, Andrew has held leadership roles within community and non-profit media, focused on training, education, and creating genuine career pathways through practical, hands-on delivery.
Andrew is attending ISE 2026 in Barcelona as part of the Production Futures bursary programme.
