
Adam Young
Adam Young graduated from The Royal School of Speech and Drama and co-founded FRAY Studio in 2015. He focuses on live music, creating visuals for artists such as Glass Animals, Chase and Status, Arlo Parks, Declan McKenna, Lewis Capaldi, Azimuth, Coldplay, Sam Fender, Foals, Mark Ronson, Years & Years, Liam Gallagher, Two Door Cinema Club, Bombay Bicycle Club, and J Balvin (Fortnite).
He has designed installations and exhibitions at the Royal College of Music, W Hotel (Guangzhou), Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure© (NYC & LA), Rolling Stones: Exhibitionism, Opera Power and Politics, Records and Rebels (V&A), and Driven 007 (Spyscape).
Adam’s theater credits include Mean Girls (Broadway/West End), Back to the Future, Frozen, Sarwat Watan (Cirque Du Soleil), Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (West End), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, American Psycho (Almeida), The Tempest (RSC & Barbican), and Master and Margarita (Complicité). In opera, his work spans productions like Fidelio, Rinaldo (Glyndebourne), Death of Klinghoffer, and The Damnation of Faust (ENO).
His background in avant-garde theater and opera brings a sense of scale and fresh ideas to his live music and performance projects. His work has received a Tony Award nomination and two Knight of Illumination Awards.
