TIDE is an all-new conference exploring the creative forces shaping the AV industry, and how businesses can leverage these concepts. TIDE in Amsterdam will focus on Design Thinking for Business. Attend TIDE to learn how thought leaders are using this innovative approach to design, and how your business can harness the power of Design Thinking to develop a competitive edge.
“Design Thinking, like spectacles, allows organizations to see more clearly.
They can now spot opportunities that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.”
Jan-Erik Baars, Head of Design Management, International, University of Applied Science, Lucerne
We’re bringing together designers, brand marketers, architects, integrators, live events producers that have never before spoken at ISE, all to give you their (different) perspective on AV. All are innovators who will demonstrate the dynamic results and incredible experiences that come from Design Thinking.
Technology. Innovation. Design. Experience. Isn’t that what our industry is all about?

Roosegaarde has been driven by nature’s gifts such as light emitting fireflies and jellyfishes since an early age. His fascination for nature and technology is reflected in his iconic designs such as Smart Highway (roads which charge from sunlight and glow at night), Waterlicht (a virtual flood) and Smog Free Project (the largest outdoor air purifier in the world which make jewelry from smog.)
Roosegaarde has won the London Design Innovation Medal, the INDEX Design Award, the World Technology Award, two Dutch Design Awards, the Charlotte Köhler Award, and China’s Most Successful Design Award. He exhibited at the Design Museum in London, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Tate Modern, Tokyo National Museum, Le Musée des Arts Décoratifs Paris, Victoria & Albert Museum, and various public spaces in Europe and Asia. Selected by Forbes and Good 100 as a creative change maker, Daan Roosegaarde shares his visionary ideas frequently at conferences across the world such as TED and Design Indaba.
