Owen’s career in AV started in 1984 and he has worked in a variety of roles from live events through project delivery at systems integrators that include Metro Group & Electrosonic. He also served for 17 years as a corporate enterprise end user at Morgan Stanley Investment Bank. Owen became a member of the AV User Group in London in 2004 and was asked to serve as Chairman at the end of 2009. During Owen’s time as Chairman he has extended the Groups reach into New York, San Jose (Silicon Valley) and Hong Kong.
He transitioned to a full-time role running the AV User Group in December 2017.

Greg is director of Visual Displays Limited (VDL), experts in all aspects of projection, including projection in high ambient light, and interactivity – making any floor, wall or surface interactive. The VDL team originates from Paradigm AV (founded 1988). Greg was founder and CEO of Simulation Displays Ltd, until its sale 2014.
Greg is a specialist consultant on AV and related standards; projection and projected displays; immersive displays; meeting room and VC lighting; integrated meeting room design. He measures, certifies and troubleshoots systems against standards, including AVIXA/ANSI PISCR (projected image quality) and DISCAS (image size, resolution, viewing distances and angles, content size guidance).
In 2002 Greg was appointed as visiting lecturer to UMIST, writing the module on projected displays for a post-graduate MSc. He sat on the InfoComm board 2008 – 2013, serving as President in 2012. Greg is active in the Standards movement; serving as lead writer on PISCR ANSI Standard on projected images and moderator for the ANSI/InfoComm Standard DISCAS task group. He is currently engaged in AVIXA’s forthcoming UX standard and developing meeting room design IP.
In 2015, Greg received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Installation magazine. He teaches and presents around the globe.

Martin leads the Room Experience Engineering (REE) team at Google, responsible for developing UX-based standardized meeting room designs that can be deployed consistently and at scale across Google’s global real estate portfolio – currently nearing 20,000 meeting rooms. Prior to joining Google in 2017, he was VP of UC Video Engineering at Morgan Stanley and has been untangling cables and arguing about correct camera height since 2006.

Stephen has a rare and valuable combination of qualifications in both acoustics and building services with extensive experience in applying these skills to a wide range of building types.
With over 30 years’ experience as an acoustic consultant, he has taken a leading role on over 600 projects in Europe, the Middle East and Far East – primarily in the fields of architectural acoustics and building services noise & vibration control, including advice on vibration isolation of buildings and sensitive equipment.
Stephen has prepared and presented expert evidence at a number of public inquiries/legal hearings and has developed computer software for the analysis of room and ductwork acoustics.
He has lectured in acoustics at the South Bank University and Kingston University and was examiner in Architectural and Building Acoustics for the Institute of Acoustics (1999-2006).
Lisa Perrine, Ed.D. Experience Designer, Communication Strategist, CEO at Cibola Systems
Lisa Perrine is an experience designer, communication strategist, and CEO of Cibola Systems. Lisa and her colleagues focus on the human elements of AV communication: the interplay between workplace culture and communication, how people experience media, and how individuals interact with technology. She approaches her work with a mixture of curiosity, creativity, and the expertise gained from completing over 1000 consulting engagements for such Clients as The Annenberg Foundation; edmunds.com; Sony Music; and United Talent Agency.
Lisa began her career in product design after earning her design degree from CSU Long Beach. In 1991 she became Cibola’s CEO, and completed her MBA at Pepperdine University shortly thereafter. Most recently Lisa earned her Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine where her research focused on multidisciplinary teams.
An avid researcher and frequent presenter, Lisa delivers courses and workshops on Design Thinking and Workplace Experience Design. Her courses have been approved for certification renewal units by AVIXA, the American Institute of Architects, and the International Interior Design Association. Lisa is also a member of AVIXA’s UX Design Standard Task Group, developing an AV industry standard for human-centered design.
