
ISE 2025 reaches new heights
ISE InsightsThis year, ISE experienced record-breaking numbers with 1,605 exhibitors spread over a 92,000sqm space, welcoming 85,351 unique visitors from 168 countries, marking a 15.5% increase from the previous year. The event drew 49,981 attendees on the first day – a 16.1% rise from ISE 2024. The upward momentum continued with 59,038 visitors on the second day, a 14.4% increase, and peaked on Thursday with 49,716 attendees. Total registrations reached 110,540, accumulating 185,700 visits throughout the four-day event. The DACH region saw a 7% uptick in attendance, nearing previous levels seen in Amsterdam.
ISE 2025 reinforced its status as a cornerstone of the AV industry by providing a platform for global professionals to exchange insights, explore revolutionary technologies, and forge lasting connections. Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events, celebrated the event's success and praised the remarkable energy and engagement, particularly within Hall 8.1, which emerged as a hub of innovation and interaction, spotlighting both industry stalwarts and pioneering new entrants.
Key attractions there included the Esports Arena, showcasing thrilling competitions and cutting-edge broadcasting technology, and the Robotics and Drone Arena, presenting advanced demonstrations. The Discovery Zone served as a launchpad for emerging companies, while the AVIXA TV Studio offered live broadcasts, enriching the attendee experience.
The content programme, curated by AVIXA, CEDIA, and ISE, saw tremendous success, with record-breaking attendance at conference sessions. The newly introduced Track sessions on industry megatrends also proved popular. Keynotes by futurist Brian Solis and digital artist Quayola captivated full-capacity crowds, reinforcing ISE’s position as a leader in industry thought leadership. Additionally, show floor tours attracted 222 attendees, providing valuable insights into cutting-edge innovations and emerging trends.
Reflecting on the event's success, AVIXA President & CEO David Labuskes emphasised the importance of in-person connections in driving industry advancements and praised the diverse programme, from summits to interactive sessions like Xchange LIVE. Daryl Friedman, Global President & CEO of CEDIA, valued the opportunity for global engagement within the CEDIA community and praised the demonstration of smart home technology advancements on the show floor.
ISE 2025 was further honoured by VIP attendees, including Salvador Illa Roca, President of the Generalitat of Catalonia, and Jaume Collboni Cuadrado, the Mayor of Barcelona. The significant presence of such dignitaries highlighted the event's prestige and the solid support it receives from Barcelona, Catalonia, and Spain. The city played an instrumental role in making the event memorable with various vibrant social events hosted by exhibitors, fostering connections and collaborations against the backdrop of Barcelona's rich cultural environment.
