A Friday focus on the next generation

Friday 2 February, the last day of ISE 2024, sees a raft of content initiatives based around recruiting and developing talent in the AV industry. As well as the return of AV Career Day, the day also includes free sessions on these topics from several ISE partners.

Organised by AVIXA and CEDIA, AV Career Day sees students and educators from around the world invited to ISE to explore careers in the AV industry. Student groups receive a show orientation from young professionals working in the industry and spend the day touring the trade show floor to see first-hand how AV professionals use the newest technologies to create incredible experiences.

CEDIA will highlight its Next Gen programme, which offers a set of tools and assets to promote engagement with young people and generate excitement about roles in the residential technology sector as well as outline clear career paths in the industry.

In Hall 4, AVIXA Xchange Live on Friday 2 February is also themed around career building and development in the industry, with sessions on Esports, IT skills for AV and AVIXA’s CTS qualification.
