NetworkTV installed at Computershare Azure recently worked with Exmoor Technology Ltd to install NetworkTV into the offices of Computershare in Bristol to deliver Freeview TV across the site. The NetworkTV IPTV system replaces an AMX Endeleo system.

The system comprises a NetworkTV management server and DVB Gateway terrestrial T2 tuner headend and is delivering a selection of Freeview TV channels including BBC News HD, BBC One and ITV over Computershare’s existing LAN infrastructure.

Computershare has been able to save a significant amount of money in the upgrade because of NetworkTV’s flexibility: firstly, NetworkTV was able to utilise the existing Amino STB’s which decode the IP streams and output the TV channels via HDMI to 42" LG displays; and secondly NetworkTV was also able to manage and include a digital signage stream produced by a Cabletime encoder.

The management of all elements of the system is via NetworkTV’s easy-to-use admin portal running in an HTML5 browser.
