Kelly joined ISE in 2012. Her role involves floorplan management, exhibitor database management and logistics.
After nine years with ISE, I have many memories – but one of the most memorable ones was Cresfest 2018 with my ISE team/family!
This night was an amazing experience where it reminded me the connection ISE has as a family. No matter how exhausted we are after months of work, we can always find time to enjoy time together!
Usually you would find me watching TV series or enjoying my semi-new hobby: running 5 or 10km.
Keep the same routine as if you were going to the office, put make-up on and take breaks from the screen wherever possible! Because there have been no other activities to keep our minds active, I think those that are able to work from home have gotten accustomed to simply give it all your time to keep distracted, so stepping away from my computer was a crucial need for me.
How Emotions Are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain by Lisa Feldman Barrett.
This book explains in detail from the physical chemical reactions in your brain depending of different emotions, all the way to the reason why certain emotions appear such as “flight or fight” and stress. My interest is largely on how our mind works and how it affects our bodies, so this book allows me to see from the most simple aspects of our brain reactions to the most complex aspects of what makes us tick.
