Uta Goretzky served as the managing director of International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) from 2015 to 2024. The trained business economist Diplom Kauffrau discovered her passion for the event industry during her studies. She worked for a long time at the German trade fair and event industry association FAMAB (now FWD), most recently as deputy managing director, and in 2002, she founded her own communications consultancy, Comcret. Travel is her source of inspiration, the sea her refuge, and sunlight her personal booster.
