AudioForum: The way we perceive space is the way we experience it
When discussing the relationship between space and sound, it is crucial to consider not just space as it is, (which may not even exist in a traditional sense), but also our perception of it and how we use it, guided by the information sound provides.
The sound experience we live in, in any given environment, is also tied to cultural and cognitive codes we have internalized and developed throughout our lives.
Designing soundscapes, whether for educational, workspaces or simply for artistic creation, must take these factors into account. This session will explore and discuss examples that have achieved these criteria.
Presented by AudioForum: The Architecture of Sound, offers a fresh perspective on design insights for all professionals, from architects to acoustics experts, sound engineers to XR and AR developers - anyone engaged in the creation of soundscapes.
