Sustainability Workshop

Our industry needs to adapt to the global issues of climate change, nature loss and social resilience. We are both part of the problem and part of the solution. Presented jointly by AVIXA and CEDIA, this workshop helped ISE delegates to understand this, think through with others the impact and opportunity presented by these challenges and how they can profit from these opportunities.

Delegates were guided through an interactive and practical workshop, working with peers from our industry. This helped them to:

Understand the problem, why it matters to you and where you can take action
Apply key frameworks to assess your impact, opportunity and build a plan of action
Make the case for spending time and money on delivering this plan

The workshop was designed around three highly interactive sessions. Each session included an interactive presentation (10 minutes); group problem-solving exercise (20 minutes); feedback and Q&A (15 minutes).

The workshop was led by Simon Brown who is a business owner, entrepreneur and adviser who has focused the last 20 years on sustainable innovation. Currently he works as a consultant to corporates and growth businesses, is a special advisor to one of Europe’s largest private equity firms and a founding shareholder in successful SaaS and ecotech businesses.
