All aspects of residential AV will be represented on the ISE 2022 show floor, with the world’s leading brands using the event to showcase the latest residential technologies and solutions.
Interra will showcase its brand-new touch controller, 4Touch, giving ISE attendees the first opportunity to get hands on with this super-slim device. It allows users to control all KNX-based devices and its minimalistic user interface is easy to use for all.
Lutron will be launching the next generation of its HomeWorks lighting control system, offering both wired and wire-free options. It will also preview the wire-free Palladiom shade, addressing the increasing demand for wireless smart home solutions. This will launch in Europe later in 2022.
Rako will be demonstrating its latest lighting control technologies, including the Modular WK-MOD and RK-MOD keypads for wired and wireless systems and the HUB interface, which now offers increased functionality and simplified third-party integration with Crestron Home, Elan and Silent Gliss.
Lilin UK is looking forward to showing its range of NDAA-compliant security solutions, including the new 7 series camera range, with AI on the edge. Visitors to the stand will be able to see a single camera detect and recognise licence plates, mask wearing and hard hat wearing at the same time, and explore the different outputs that can be configured with this. “Want a door to only open if someone is wearing a mask? Easily done with this new AI camera. Turn on the lights and kettle when your car comes up the driveway? It’s simple – only one product is needed to trigger this,” explains Steve Liddiard, Lilin CEO.
Also on show will be Lilin’s Self+AI Cloud, which enables users to develop their own AI engines to recognise products, shapes, or even sign-language. If you follow Lilin’s training programme and provide the reference images, the company will turn this into a firmware to be uploaded to any 7 series cameras.
2N will be demonstrating its Indoor View answering unit and showing how it can also be used as a control panel for a smart home. The latest IP Style intercom with 10in touch display and full HD camera will also be on the stand.
New from Basalte is Miro, which enables users to control all devices in their intelligent Basalte home, including TV, lights, music and more, using the joystick, buttons and the 2in super black touch display. In addition, Lisa, the company’s newest touchpanel, combines lights, shades, scenes, temperature and music control in the form factor of a keypad. It also functions as an indoor station for door phones and offers an intercom function to other Lisa and Ellie panels.
The HDBaseT Alliance stand will feature a Power Wall showcasing the first wave of products making their way into the market that support the latest HDBaseT Spec 3.0. ISE 2022 will also mark the official launch of HDBaseT into the metaverse, as the alliance will be debuting its brand-new Uncompressed Adventure augmented reality virtual treasure hunt, demonstrating just how vast the HDBaseT ecosystem truly is. The game, reminiscent of Pokemon Go, will allow attendees to travel the ISE show floor to find QR codes placed in all HDBaseT Alliance members’ stands. Once a visitor arrives at one of these stands and scans the QR code, 3D augmented reality HDBaseT logos will appear on their phone that they can tap to earn points for a chance to win prizes. With an estimated 60 alliance members currently slated to exhibit at ISE 2022, there’s plenty of fun to be had across the show floor.
When it comes to audio, Crestron will be highlighting a number of solutions, including DMX NAZ, which provides the connectivity and functionality to enable users to toggle between TV audio, streaming music, podcasts, alarms, doorbells and even paging and intercom usage to any speaker in the house.
Lyngdorf Audio will be introducing its new CI speaker collection, which includes three discreet two-way D-500 front speakers each with passive woofers, a D-5 IC in-ceiling speaker with rotating tweeter, and an in-wall D-5 option.
In addition, the company’s Steinway & Sons flagship standalone speaker series is joined by the Model A. This compact addition is said to facilitate easy free-standing placement close to boundary walls.
Artcoustic will be launching its brand-new SL Evolve series, a time aligned array which utilises a precisely designed solution for dealing with comb filtering and high-frequency array phase overlap. According to Artcoustic, the design has been optimised in a way that allows the Evolve loudspeakers to achieve a near-perfect response curve, without compromising on any high-end features, including extreme sound pressure levels, high sensitivity, extended frequency response, controlled directivity, exceptional speed and incredible transient response.
Also new are the Spitfire A4 and A6 models, which are uniquely designed to be modular, enabling a complete, scalable design for any cinema room. Together with Artcoustic’s line-up of band-pass subwoofers, the Spitfire series is said to deliver a consistent extraordinary cinematic experience.
D-Tools, which specialises in core business management software for system integrators worldwide, will demonstrate its latest release, System Integrator version 18, as well its D-Tools Cloud offering that will be shown at ISE for the first time. New capabilities and enhancements help these companies save time, gain deeper insight into project processes, and improve operating efficiency.
