New developments to the Igloo proposition, being showcased for the first time at ISE Live & Online in London, include Igloo Touch, which turns a smartphone into a controller to interact with all Igloo software. Available for free, this allows users in an immersive workspace to operate the system from their own devices, rather than sharing one controller or interface.
Igloo Home – which turns the walls of the immersive space into something like a giant smartphone screen with a team’s familiar apps tiled around the space – is also new, along with Immersive video conferencing packages. These enables teams, wherever they are located, to come together and get more done, more effectively, as well as facilitate hybrid events and workshops.
Attendees will also be able to experience the latest iteration of Igloo Web, a fully-functioning immersive web browser that allows users to access the web. Many websites work natively in Igloo Web and automatically expand to cover a full 360° canvas, such as Miro, Pinterest, Trello and more. New functionality includes the ability to quickly construct dashboards of web-based apps, so that teams can tile content from multiple sources such as Microsoft 365, various CRMs, YouTube and more.
Igloo immersive workspaces benefit from deep integrations with a wider range of digital tools, including Matterport, Google Street View, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Cisco Webex.
In addition, a standardised installation methodology enables any integrator to retrofit Igloo technology into any room of any dimensions.
The company will also be presenting its solutions during a Tech Spotlight session on the Main Stage at 11:00 on Wednesday.
Igloo’s immersive workspace will be in action at stand L-542.
