The introduction of audiovisual technologies in the hospitality sector has accelerated notably in recent years – enabling hotels and other venues to create experiences that set them apart from the competition.

Deploying AV technologies has enabled hotels to improve their services and the experience of their customers – people attending events on their premises as well as hotel guests. At the same time, this trend has stimulated the development of innovative solutions for this sector as well as expanding the business of AV suppliers and the channel.
At The Ibiza Twiins, an innovative 4-star superior seafront hotel on Ibiza, technology enables the creation of amazing environments and personalised event experiences. These capabilities distinguish it as one of the most modern, innovative and original destinations on the island, with countless resources to make forums, conferences and events memorable and successful.
The resort is equipped with customisable RGB illumination. Additionally, it has four 30,000 lumens laser projectors; three LED screens, deployed in the Welcome Area of the Life building (measuring 12.50m x 2.80m), and in the Lounge Bar (7.50m x 0.90m) and Welcome Area (7.60m x 2.80m) of the Joy building; as well as four customisable informational totems. The resort also features a facility that allows images and videos 540sqm in area to be projected in the main pool area.
At Catalonia Hotels & Resorts an outstanding AV system, developed by Broomx Technologies, allows guests to transform their rooms and enjoy immersive experiences in 4D without individual virtual reality devices. This 180º audiovisual projection system offers immersive experiences for families or couples, from a trip to the bottom of the sea, to flying over the Earth in a spaceship.
This system was first installed in the Immersive Art Junior Suite of the Catalonia Passeig de Gràcia hotel in Barcelona. The player-projector, called MK Player360, is an all-in-one projection system for enjoying virtual reality in physical spaces. Thanks to its intuitive control device, guests can manage all the content, generating a new communication channel between the client, the hotel and the tourist destination.
The system is connected to the BroomxVR platform, which is continually updated with productions by internationally renowned artists. In addition, content can be updated instantly via the online management system; in this way, clients can provide their own content even before they check in, personalising their experience and stay as much as possible.
