The Command Center utilises real-time data to monitor key aspects like hospital occupancy, admissions, discharges, and resource availability, which helps in improving patient care and reducing wait times. The initiative demonstrates the hospital's commitment to more effective decision making, providing high-quality care and enhancing the patient experience.
Francesc Garcia Cuyás von der Medizinischen Direktion meint: "Solche technologischen Umgebungen können auch in gesundheitlichen Notfällen sehr nützlich sein." Visitors to the Command Center can expect an intriguing experience, as the tour will also highlight the hospital's innovative use of robotics in both hospitalisation, preoperative settings and to help palliative paediatric patients at home, along with insights into a new study focused on emergency-care waiting rooms.
