ISE Insights
Spanning Halls 1 and 2 of the Fira, the Unified Communications & Education Technology Zone at ISE 2026 is the place to discover the latest technology designed to transform learning outcomes, make education accessible and enjoyable for all, and deliver teaching and training spaces that work for students and educators.

Education technology

Innovations on show will cover all aspects of education technology, from eye-catching immersive and interactive displays to the audio and networking tools needed to ensure information can be shared smoothly wherever learners may be located.

One stand that is sure to draw the crowds is Google (2S500), whose tools for education are designed to foster collaboration, make learning more dynamic, and create safe online learning environments. Attendees will be able to get hands on with everything they need to create courses, manage classes, distribute assignments, collaborate, and gain insights into student activity, as well as learn how AI is helping educators to save time and develop unique learning experiences.

Also leading the way when it comes to developing AI-powered tools for education is Microsoft (2Q400). Here the focus is on accelerating learning, improving efficiency and ensuring IT security using the latest AI models.

Collaboration continues to be a key aspect of modern learning environments and the technology to ensure this is simple and reliable will be in focus across the Unified Communications & Education Technology Zone. Interactive whiteboards and displays with integrated software designed to deliver immersive and personalised learning will be on show from the likes of SMART Technologies (1C350) and Viewsonic (2R480). In addition, wireless presentation systems will be highlighted by companies including Airtame (2V680) and ScreenBeam (2V150). Visitors will be able to see how these systems streamline room set ups, speed up collaboration and enable educators to focus on teaching rather than technology.

Innovative display technology will also be on show elsewhere in the Fira, particularly in the Multi-Technology Zone that occupies Halls 3, 5 and 8.1. Here manufacturers including BenQ (3S200), Epson (3J100) Sony (3E300) and Wolfvision (3M500) will be showing interactive displays, projectors, signage and wireless presentation tools, as well as highlighting flexible solutions that enhance lecture spaces, training rooms, cross-campus communications and hybrid or distance learning scenarios.

The audio systems that ensure lessons and training sessions can be clearly heard and understood will also be demoed at ISE 2026. In the Unified Communications & Education Technology Zone, the likes of Nureva (2N900) and QSC/Q-SYS (2M300) will be highlighting the microphones, amplifiers, loudspeakers, signal processors and software that enable lessons to be delivered with clarity no matter where learners are located. Further examples of these technologies can be found elsewhere from the likes of Shure (3M300), Sennheiser (3B500, 3B700) and Biamp (3D7000).

Finally, to ensure learning spaces run smoothly and reliably, ISE 2026 will welcome companies that develop the switches, extenders, access points and connectivity solutions that enable integrators to deploy robust networks with ease. NETGEAR AV (2U240), Xilica (2R5000), PureLink (2Q700) and Lindy (2S300) are among the exhibitors that will be in Barcelona to discuss the need for secure, reliable network technologies.
