We often hear about the potential of XR and for many, it is deemed as simply a complement or supplement to business activities which can provide an innovative edge within product design, development, marketing, or general business processes. However, XR is no longer just an add on, there are multiple use cases to be excited about. December’s Spotlight looked at some of the most compelling use cases of XR.
The panel presented the latest examples of the use of AR/VR/MR technologies in a variety of settings, including experiential marketing and advertising; decision-making in sport; training in healthcare; and in creating memorable experiences in museums and visitor attractions. They also covered strategies underlying their decisions and shared visions for future development.
