Spearheaded by show co-owners AVIXA and CEDIA, ISE 2020’s professional development programme offers a wide range of opportunities for attendees to keep up to date with what’s going on in the industry. More than 300 thought leaders – including former Disney executive Duncan Wardle – will be proffering their expertise during the week of ISE 2020.
In the ISE 2020 Opening Address, Wardle will speak about how companies can unlock their innate creativity and foster a culture of innovation. But this is just one of a host of learning opportunities at the show – which includes conferences, education sessions, free talks and other show features – that are strongly appreciated by attendees.
According to ISE’s own research, 76% of people who cited attending education programmes as a reason for coming to ISE 2019 were ‘very satisfied’ or ‘extremely satisfied’ that this objective had been met. And among those who said they had come to learn about industry trends, a similar proportion, 73%, expressed the same levels of satisfaction with this outcome.
The show’s increasing attendance from AV end-users in a broad range of verticals is reflected in ISE 2020’s biggest and most wide-ranging conference programme. Among the new events taking place next February are the CEDIA Design & Build Conference, aimed at architects, interior designers and other residential design & build professionals; and the Control Rooms Summit ISE, which will attract attendees from many sectors, including public safety, transportation and utilities. All of these events are chaired by renowned experts in the appropriate field and feature a strong line-up of expert keynote speakers, panellists and presenters.
These two events join a line-up of conferences that already encompasses smart buildings, higher education, enterprise, digital signage, digital cinema, XR (virtual, augmented and mixed reality), stadium technology, pro audio, hospitality and visitor attractions.
Expert presenters will also be found in abundance at AVIXA’s and CEDIA’s paid-for and free-to-attend professional development events. Additionally, the two associations – along with AV Magazine and ISE, plus feature sponsor SHURE, are the content partners for the Main Stage Theatre, which will be located in Hall 14 at ISE 2020. This will offer free-to attend thought leadership sessions throughout ISE 2020, organised along four Trends Tracks: best practice, technology, business and people & development.
More details of the ISE 2020 professional development programme will be announced on the ISE website over the coming weeks. Also, keep an eye out for our Professional Development Guide, which has comprehensive details of all the learning opportunities at the show.
