AVIXA and CEDIA, the two trade associations that own the ISE show, will be providing a full professional development programme at ISE 2020. Whether you’re looking for a quick update on a key issue or technology, or to gain an in-depth understanding of an important topic, you’re bound to find something to suit your needs.
CEDIA will be offering a four-day programme of workshops and seminars, beginning on Monday 10 February with its new Cybersecurity Workshop. This will be an all-day theory-based interactive workshop that will help attendees create best practice procedures and customer policies around network security and cybersecurity. For CEDIA’s education sessions on Tuesday to Thursday, an All Access Pass will be available to provide unlimited access for one low price.
Both associations are contributing to the extensive ISE 2020 conference programme. AVIXA will once again be running two half-day conferences. AVIXA Higher Ed AV Conference (in conjunction with EUNIS and SCHOMS) will explore the latest trends in the design of learning and collaboration on university campuses, taking the perspective of different kinds of technology users into account. AVIXA Enterprise AV Conference (in conjunction with AV User Group) will focus on data analytics, and the opportunity that it affords in improving business strategies and workspace/system designs.
CEDIA is reaching out to architects, interior designers and other residential design & build professionals with its new Design & Build Conference. Attendees will receive a deep dive look at how professional design and installation can lead to sophisticated aesthetics and lifestyle benefits.
For those with less time to devote to professional development, AVIXA will be running an engaging programme of free 20-minute FlashTrack sessions over the four days of ISE. Sessions will be divided into four distinct tracks – User Experience, AV/IT, Design, and Emerging Trends. CEDIA, meanwhile, will run CEDIA Talks on popular issues on its stand.
In addition to these opportunities, AVIXA and CEDIA will be welcoming attendees to their stands to learn more about on how association membership can help individual and companies to move ahead in the industry.
