The industry’s move toward IT is shifting into high gear – although the transition to all-IP will take some time. At Stand 5-U120 at ISE 2019, Atlona will demonstrate that while the industry’s acceleration to the network is real, the need for circuit-based matrix solutions remains strong.

Atlona’s message this year is clear: with 155 active products at press time, we have you covered across legacy and IP system needs. Atlona is prepared to help integrators and end users thrive across any collaborative and/or distributed AV environment.

Networked Options

The commercial AV industry continues to accelerate towards full IT convergence, as corporations, universities and other enterprises transition from circuit-based systems to IP- and cloud-enabled technologies. Atlona has been at the forefront of this movement with OmniStream™, and today, it defines low-latency, networked AV over 1Gbps networks.

Atlona has re-organised and expanded the OmniStream family to help its customers build flexible, cost-effective AV systems tailored to specific end user needs:

  • OmniStream Pro: Networked AV for conference rooms, boardrooms and divisible rooms, as well as distributed AV over enterprise networks
  • OmniStream R-Type: Networked AV streamlined for light commercial and residential distributed AV applications
  • OmniStream Audio: Audio over IP integration via Dante and AES67, compatible with Pro and R-Type systems
  • OmniStream USB: The most recent OmniStream family addition, these products connect USB devices to PCs, peripherals and displays across a network

As the only AV over IP platform that streams and decodes Dolby Vision™ HDR@60Hz and 12-bit resolution, Atlona’s OmniStream demo at ISE will capture the attention of integrators and end users ready for migration to the network. Paired with Atlona’s Velocity™ networked AV control platform, facilities of any size can plan their next moves with peace of mind.

Collaboration and Matrix Solutions

Every business has unique needs, preferences and facility architectures. Atlona continues to innovate for facilities that favour circuit-based systems. At ISE 2019, Atlona will unveil two new product families that serve the needs of these customers worldwide.

ISE 2019 marks the global debut of the OMEGA™ Series, an evolving family of switching, extension and video processing solutions that redefine AV for presentation and collaboration.

The core OMEGA Series product, the BYOD-friendly AT-OME-SW32, is a compact 3×2 matrix switcher featuring a USB-C AV input for connecting video from mobile devices. It is also useful for smaller meeting spaces, where the switcher can drive dual displays, sub-switching into central AV over IP systems, and many other applications.

The OMEGA Series includes three other key products: the AT-OME-ST31 3×1 AV switcher/transmitter; the AT-OME-SR21 2×1 switcher/receiver/4K scaler; and the AT-OME-TX21-WP-E 2×1 wallplate/switcher/transmitter, which is available specifically for the UK and EU markets.

Receiving its European debut is the award-winning Opus™ Series. Opus Series comprises three 4K HDR, HDMI-to-HDBaseT switchers (4×6, 6×8 and 8×10 matrices). The switchers combine support for 4K/UHD at 60Hz and multiple HDR formats with powerful integration capabilities and – for the first time – audio matrix switching, including support for television return audio.

The Opus Series also includes a companion HDBaseT receiver, and all three switchers are compatible with the also-new AT-JUNO-451-HDBT four-input switcher for local in-room switching. For ISE 2019 attendees, Opus represents the next-generation for 4K HDR matrix switching in light commercial and residential AV systems.
