Three of the conferences taking place at ISE 2019 have recently released details of keynote speakers. The VP of Intel’s IOT Group will give a keynote at the Digital Signage Summit ISE; an award-winning sound designer who has worked on Olympic and Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremonies will address the AGORA stadium technology conference; and the Head of the International Cinema Technology Association, Europe will headline the Digital Cinema Summit ISE.
Digital Signage Summit ISE
Jose Avalos, VP IoT Group & GM Visual Retail at Intel, leads the chipmaker’s worldwide digital signage and retail business. Today, Intel’s Realsense is the most popular sensor for the digital signage industry, and the company’s IoT platform delivers numerous solutions for sensor integration and digital signage media players, as well as offering features for the more efficient remote management of clients. At the Digital Signage Summit ISE, Avalos will present insights in how IoT enables digital signage in a changing world.
Digital Signage Summit ISE takes place on Wednesday 6 February from 09:00 to 13:00 at the Hotel Okura.
Sound designer Scott Willsallen, a director of Sydney- and London-based consultancy Auditoria, will present the keynote at the AGORA sports venue technology conference, presented by MONDO | STADIA. He established the company following his successful delivery of the audio for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Auditoria has designed and delivered audio and other performance technologies for four Olympic Games, two Commonwealth Games, two Rugby World Cup tournaments, and many other major international events around the world.
AGORA takes place on Thursday 6 February from 10:30 to 16:00 in Room E102 at the RAI Amsterdam.
Digital Cinema Summit ISE
Jan Runge, Head of the International Cinema Technology Association, Europe, will give the keynote at the Digital Cinema Summit ISE. The ICTA is the leading international trade association for cinema equipment manufacturers. Runge will present an economic overview of the digital cinema market worldwide.
His keynote will be followed by panel discussions on theatre management systems, file- and object-based theatre sound, and laser versus LED for HDR in exhibition. Companies represented on the panels will include Arts Alliance Media, DTS, GDC Technology and Samsung.
Digital Cinema Summit ISE takes place on Wednesday 6 February from 14:00 to 18:00 at the Hotel Okura.
