Award-winning architect Aryanour Djalali, CEO of world-famous DNA Barcelona Architects, is one of more than 300 thought leaders and subject experts featured in the broad range of seminars, conferences, training programmes and keynotes taking place at ISE 2019.

The conference programme has drawn an impressive array of experts from a wide range of sectors and disciplines. Five conferences are being held at the RAI, and five at the nearby Hotel Okura.

To give you a flavour of what to expect, here are brief profiles of just 10 of the expert speakers you can see between 4 and 8 February at ISE 2019.

Aryanour Djalali will be giving a keynote at the Smart Building Conference. His buildings fuse organic design with futuristic innovation – and he will discuss how technologies such as CAD, BIM and 3D video all help to bring the client into the project during the early stages.

Talking at SBC about the relationship between smart spaces and experience will be Michael L Schneider, Creative Technology Director – Hardware for Gensler, which was ranked number 1 by Building Design in the 2018 World Architecture Top 100.

Amelia Kallman will chair the XR Summit ISE. A futurist, communicator and consultant, Kallman specialises in the impact of new technologies on business and on our day-to-day lives.

Jose Avalos, General Manager of Visual Retail and VP of the IoT Group at Intel, who leads the chipmaker’s digital signage programme, will present a keynote at Digital Signage Summit ISE.

The opening keynote at Digital Cinema Summit ISE will be presented by Jan Runge, European head of the International Cinema Technology Association. Previously CEO of trade body UNIC, he is also an independent analyst and advisor to the cinema industry worldwide.

Chris Lange, Creative Director and head of the in-house creative and design department at Europe’s second biggest theme park, Europa-Park, will be presenting at attractionsTECH by blooloop. His international work includes India’s first theme park project, as well as attractions in Singapore and South Korea.

Emmy Award-winning sound designer Scott Willsallen will be giving a keynote at the AGORA conference on sports venue technology. A director of the Sydney-based consultancy Auditoria, Willsallen has worked on multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games Ceremonies.

Donato Masci is an acoustic designer and consultant, working for Florence-based company Studio Sound Service. He will be presenting at AudioForum @ ISE, which for its 2019 edition will discuss sound environments, the listening experience and psychological factors.

Dubbed ‘the father of home theatre’, Theo Kalomirakis is just one of four world-renowned experts presenting CEDIA’s Home Cinema Design Masterclass. With his company TK Theatres he has designed private cinemas for movie stars, sports legends and world leaders.

Consultant Dr Gill Ferrell will be moderating the AVIXA-hosted conference What’s Next… Higher Education Experiences. She has led and advised on many implementations of IT within teaching, research and administration functions, and is currently the leader of the EUNIS e-Learning Task Force.

Experience designer and communication strategist Lisa Perrine, CEO of Cibola Systems, will be taking part in AVIXA’s What’s Next… Enterprise AV Integrated Experiences conference. Her company has completed over 1,000 consulting projects for clients including Sony Music, United Talent Agency and The Annenberg Foundation.
