Digital Signage continues to show the way at ISE

In recent years, Digital Signage has been the fastest growing category at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). Not only has the Digital Signage market seen significant growth over the last five years, ISE has partnered with invidis consulting – a leading voice in Digital Signage and DooH. This has added additional weight to ISE’s Digital Signage offering, both in terms of exhibitors and educational content.

According to the Digital Signage Yearbook 2016/17 from invidis, the Digital Signage market experienced double digit growth in 2015 in EMEA. The combined revenues of Germany, Austria and Switzerland alone was 930 million euros. According to invidis consulting’s Managing Director Florian Rotberg, the billion euro threshold will almost certainly be broken this year. The Digital-out-of-Home (DooH) market is also developing at a steady rate, last year growing 30% in the DACH region alone.

These growth trends have been reflected at ISE. In 2012, around 21% of the show’s attendees declared an interest in Digital Signage. At ISE 2016, this figure had grown to 52% and the show floor hosted somewhere in the region of 450 exhibitors that stated Digital Signage as part of its offering.

Digital Signage has its own specified area on the show floor, in Hall 8, but there are relevant exhibitors in all 14 halls.

The partnership between Integrated Systems Events and invidis has not only seen the Digital Signage Summit (DSS) events grow in size and number, it has also seen the consultancy firm’s role at ISE expand too. This means more education sessions and another reason why the show is a key destination for those who want to be at the cutting edge of Digital Signage and DooH.

At ISE 2016, invidis delivered daily market briefings, which gave an executive introduction and overview of the Digital Signage market in the EMEA region. Beside a review of 2015, invidis presented the trends and drivers for the year ahead. In addition to this, there were Digital Signage guided tours, which visited selected Digital Signage exhibitors at the ISE.

ISE 2017 is, once again, shaping up to be a key event for Digital Signage and DooH.
